First, I'd like to say how great our rep, Mark, is. We originally got a quote from this company a couple of years ago (from a different rep) and we weren't ready at that time to make the investment. However, new floors for our upstairs had been on our mind for a long time. We didn't know that ownership had changed over the course of when we received our original quote. As luck would have it, Mark reached out to touch base on our original quote to see if we were still interested. I let him know the price was higher than we had expected to spend and he offered to come give us a new quote. Mark was helpful in the sense of being creative with what we wanted and keeping costs within range of our budget by offering different flooring types etc. We ultimately went with vinyl plank flooring on our stairs, hallway and loft area and carpet in the bedrooms. He save us about 40% from the original quote. Mark is extremely patient, kind and listens to the customers wants. The company has been great under new ownership and we LOVE our floors! They did an excellent job and start to finish took 3 days. Kudos to them! Also, we love our stairs with the white risers, it gives them a more modern look without being too modern. Thanks again for doing an excellent job and delivering on quality and price. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for new flooring! Don't be afraid to ask questions about different materials etc. It worked for us! :)

I had beautiful laminated flooring installed. The installation was done in one day, the crew that installed the flooring couldn't have done a better job. They were careful of all my furnishings and returned all the furniture in the right places. The flooring is beautiful . I have had nothing but compliments on the flooring. I am pleased beyond words.

4/17/25 Update: The new owners of FCI Mesa addressed all my concerns and beautifully updated the stairs with the required tread support for the overhang, that the previous owner failed to install. Mark and Matt were especially helpful in specially designing the LVP cuts for these overly long stair steps, to have a more natural look. Thank you Mark, Matt, Nora, and Alan for your quick response and turn-around! I highly recommend this team if you are looking to get your flooring and stairs done! ******************************************************* Installed new flooring on stairs, upstairs, and bathrooms with Steve Garner and Kris Piotrowski of FCI Mesa in early 2022. You can see the rushed and low quality install of the luxury vinyl plank (LVP) in the attached pictures (mis-matched patterns and colors, cuts too obvious), but since my wife was almost due to give birth, I did not have the bandwidth to chase down this issue. Since FCI Mesa incorrectly installed the LVP on the staircase by not including stair nosing on the steps to structurally support the LVP overhang on the steps (they actually cut off the existing stair nosing in the install process), the LVP at the step edge almost immediately started cracking at every step, until two of the steps finally gave out and LVP pieces just completely crumbled (see attached pictures). Contacted FCI Mesa in early 2025 to rectify this issue, and they informed me that since new owners had purchased this franchise from Kris, they had to "chase down the previous builders" (I thought FCI Mesa built this?) and were not responsible for contracts signed from when Kris was the franchise owner. They did however, come out to inspect the broken steps, and verbally quoted us a new estimate for installing the stair nosing and redoing the LVP. That was almost a month ago. I have yet to receive a formal written itemized estimate, nor any communication from neither the sales rep nor the franchise owner on how to move forward to fix this issue. I'm hoping FCI Mesa as a company can take responsibility for this terrible install job, and I'll update with new pictures if and when the stairs are fixed.

I originally decided to go with a big box store for my new carpe, but as usual they failed to show or even call when they missed the measuring appointment. I found Floor Coverings International on Google, read their reviews, and saw they were located in Mesa. I called and got a measuring appointment for the next day. Mark was on time, brought a ton of samples, and had me set up for the install in less than a week. No pressure, very professional, and actually got my carpet installed ahead of schedule. He personally came to verify the installation and asked if there were any issues. I identified a small problem and he had his guy out the next day to fix it. He didn’t ask for the payment until I was completely satisfied. It was the best customer service I’d seen in quite awhile. I highly recommend this company!
