These guys were amazing. Customer service, Follow-up calls, in person quotes, answering all our questions, and communication was on point. Chris was superb when he came to the house to inspect the flooring regarding explanation of the process and his recommendations reassured us we were making the right choice. We highly recommend them. His crew that came to do the work didn't mess around, they came to assess and got straight to work, friendly crew. As you can see, we're super happy with the job.

Flooring International of San Jose came and did an excellent job on our renovation project of an old kitchen. Installation was timely and very efficient, with no flooring to be removed, making the kitchen like new again. Highly recommend this company. A pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend this company. Chris showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. I have old carpet in the house, it had a few spots where a pet had dug at the carpet until the hardwood floor beneath was showing. The carpet had ‘waves’ in it from a friends wheelchair turning around in a certain place so many times. We have five grandsons ranging in age from 7 to 6 months, and two aging pets, so didn’t want to invest in new carpeting for the house. Chris was able to determine that, yes, his crew could patch the bare spots and would be able to stretch the carpet to eliminate the ‘waves’. We set a date and the father son team showed up on time and were very professional and quick. They moved two larger pieces of furniture to complete the carpet stretch and placed it back afterward. Great job! We now believe we have have at least 5 more years before we need to re- carpet the house.

I wanted to go back to the hardwood floors under carpets. All the companies I found on Yelp didn’t mention removing carpets and restoring hardwood floors. I first started search for companies to remove carpets and a different search to restore hardwood floors. In this process I found two companies that would do both. I decided on Floor Coverings International after they sent someone over to give me a free estimate. They were very efficient at removing carpet and baseboards. Then they sanded the floor and covered it over with a clear coat. When the baseboards were put in the job was done. I was really happy with the results. I also liked I was warned of areas of the floor that might not look as well. I could have had these sections replaced, but I didn’t bacause the cost of the job would double and warned the added sections would not look like the other floors. I am thinking of replacing carpet in a room and will probably hire them again to do that job.
