I can't recommend Floor Coverings International enough! I found them through a Facebook recommendation from someone else in my community, which already says a lot about them if others are recommending them. Then, our experience was great. I immediately received texts from Mario, who had photos at the ready to show me the types of work they could do on our stairs and in our bedrooms. I asked so many questions and he answered them all patiently and with expert knowledge. He treated us like we mattered and were important to him. We went with FCI partly because of how un-sales-y he was... he guided us and walked alongside us. We couldn't be happier with our experience with him or with our result. The flooring came quickly, and the install was scheduled super fast--a lot sooner than I expected. So soon, in fact, that we weren't really ready with our clean-out, but they worked around us professionally and efficiently. One of my kiddos has pretty severe anxiety surrounding change, and they were kind and patient with him while still doing a quick and efficient job. A rarity! Madson, our installer, was kind, quick, professional, and respectful. We truly liked him as a person and were equally impressed with his work ethic and attention to detail. Did I mention how quickly he worked?! I remarked to him that he was fast but still precise and thorough, and he laughed about how many years of experience it took to get that way. Truly a gem. There was a hiccup with communication about a "look" we wanted on the stairs at one point, and, not surprisingly, Mario JUMPED in and immediately found a solution that involved a specialty vendor and STILL got finished ahead of schedule. Can't ask for more than that! FCI took out carpet and did our stairs and three bedrooms/closets with beautiful Mohawk laminate and we're in love with our new floors. Thanks to the team!

Team did an amazing job, start to finish. Mario is throughly knowledgeable and explained the process and options, to empower us to select the right products for our needs. We felt like we were in good hands, if an issue happens, we can rely on them to do right. Also, Mario helped provide us all the information of what to do to prepare and ensure the house was ready for the day of install. Install week, we had tropical depression creating nonstop rain, which you don’t want when they’re carpet outside. Mario was on top of communication and squeezed in reschedule for a possible sunnier day. Helped us arrange a “plan b” weather scenario for install which we ended up not needing, as the sun came back full force that day. Excellent customer service, across the board, from sales to install. Extreme heat outside, while cutoff the carpet, so don’t forget to take care of your install team, keep them hydrated. Install team completed 3 bedrooms, separate closet, and loft area, all within a day. Nevertheless, they still upheld care in working around & handling our furniture and attention to detail in their profession. After install they even vacuumed a few times. For the heck of it, after they left, we did too with our strong vacuum just to see, but barely any dust or carpet shavings remained - they left it well cleaned. It’s been a month since install and we’ve had zero issues and thoroughly happy with it. We are handy and some things you can do yourself, and others are best left to the professionals, to do, what they do best. If you’re looking for someone to do a solid job with a fair price, they are your people. Worth every penny. Would use their services again.
